Nefretite

Nefertiti, his name means "the most beautiful come," was the most important Egyptian queen of the dynasty 18. It was the wife of Amenhotep IV (also known as Akhenaten). Nefretite was born in 1380 BC and died in 1345 BC

Akhenaton was her husband, the pharaoh Akhenaten who replaced the worship of Egyptian polytheistic (belief in many gods of Egypt) by monotheism (worship of one god) in ancient Egypt. The imposition of Pharaoh, the king of the sun should be the only god worshiped. Nefertiti followed Atenism imposed by the husband.

Nefertiti had six daughters: Meritaten, Mecketaton, Ankhesenpaton, Neferneferuaton, and Neferneferuré Setepenre.
Some Egyptologists poem the hypothesis that Nefertiti ruled Egypt for two years after the death of her husband Akhenaton.
